I haven't had time since buying the store to updated this blog. My husband (MY BIGGEST FAN) has asked me to cut my hours there and spend more time painting. These are a couple of paintings I completed after returning from Quebec and Nova Scotia.

- My description? I started painting in the early 70's but laid it aside to raise a son. Nick, my husband, gave me brushes, paints, and lessons from Judy in a Christmas box in 2004. Today I describe myself as Blessed. Happy. Content. More friends than a girl deserves, good kids, healthy, beautiful grandkids, a desire to paint that far exceeds the desire to vacuum, clean bathrooms or even make the bed. I married a wonderful man who puts up with all that plus my sudden urges to move walls, change colors and rearrange our world. Oh, Thank you, Lord!
